Communications Manager
Stratford District Council
As a result of a restructure the Stratford District Council is seeking a Communications Manager to proactively lead Council's internal and external communications.
This is a new permanent full time position which includes:
- Development and implementation of communications related strategies and policies.
- Creating content for media releases, marketing campaigns and advertising.
- Managing Council's online presence.
- Project management.
- Promotional events.
The successful applicant will have a relevant qualification or experience, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to build and maintain positive relationships and proven project and/or event management skills. They will have demonstrated the ability to lead a team, and be solution focussed. Experience in a Local Government environment is desirable but not essential.
