Community Development Manager

As the result of a restructure, Stratford District Council is seeking a Community Development Manager to lead Council's community and economic development by effectively engaging across the social and economic sectors of the district. This position will also deliver Council events and activities.

This is a new and permanent full time position which includes:

• Delivering on Council's community and economic development strategies.
• Project management.
• Delivering Council events and activities.
• Building capacity.

The successful applicant will have a relevant qualification or experience, have excellent communication skills, strategic management experience and proven project and/or event management skills. They will have demonstrated the ability to lead a team, and be solution focussed. Experience in a Local Government environment is desirable but not essential.
