The Selwyn Foundation is looking for a Team Leader / Application Systems Analyst with broad analyst skills to support the needs of our business by driving effective use of our applications and systems, and so enhance business improvement across our operational areas.

We are a dynamic and progressive leading provider of quality services for older people, with nine retirement villages across the North Island and a wide range of community-based initiatives. We have a reputation for innovation and delivering the best possible experience for our residents and customers, with a particular focus on trialling new technology as an enabler for better care.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Systems Analyst with at least three years' experience in an application support role, and some experience leading a team. As a passionate team player with a 'can do' attitude, you'll ensure that maximum values are extracted from the major investment we've made in our systems.

You'll take the lead on the whole spectrum of application systems support, so you'll have broad experience with:

  • User administration
  • Issue management
  • Configuration changes
  • User acceptance testing
  • Project management
  • Training and provision of 'how to' guides
  • Team Leader responsibilities

Of course, excellent verbal and written communications along with strong relationship building skills are must-haves.

You will also need to have experience supporting an ERP system and at least a basic understanding of accounting concepts. If you have knowledge of Technology One's Finance and HR modules - even better!

This is a busy and varied full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility around working hours. You'll be based at our Group Office in Grafton as part of our ICT team, but will get to travel to our different sites as required (so you'll need to have a full, clean NZ driver's licence).
