In order to better support the needs of our existing clients and to help grow future workload, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the Fabric Maintenance team, primarily focused on our North Taranaki business.

This role will initially support the Scaffold and Rigging team but is likely to grow into supporting the wider portfolio covered by Fabric Maintenance.
This new position will report directly to the General Manager - Fabric Maintenance.
The role is a mix of project management, customer relationship management, business development and planning. It will involve working with current and future customers to understand their needs and supply efficient, safe and practical solutions to them. This will require the incumbent to perform regular customer visits and to build up a rapport with the relevant maintenance and project personnel. You will be accountable for winning new work and coordinating all activities across the various projects & customer sites ensuring that we meet or exceed our customer expectations and manage projects to budget.
The successful applicant will need to have the following competencies:
- Sound scaffolding experience or in related field with a minimum of 6 years' experience.
- Computer skills: Excel, Word, MS Project, AX, Layplan - an advantage
- Site Safe or equivalent H&S Training or relevant for managing subcontractors
- Project Management Training
