This is a newly created role to strengthen the existing team. You'll be working collaboratively with our Wellington based IT Team to support the business.Making sure staff have the right tools and know how to use them is one of the key aspects to this role. You'll be comfortable helping staff familiarise with their gadgets, and make sure they are connected when they need to be. You'll be digitally savvy and be right at home on any device. You will be technologically curious, and know how to apply fixes with both tools and systems.You will enjoy variety - this role includes elements of project support, loads of customer service, problem solving, testing, implementation, and interaction with remote users. Some days you'll be training users in the roll out of new systems, other days you'll be producing or updating IT documentation for end users.You will have recent workplace experience providing internal customer service in an IT environment. Particularly relevant will be work in a helpdesk logging and responding to internal IT queries (for both tools and software) and resolving these issues quickly.You will need to have:Demonstrate proven experience providing level 1 and 2 technical IT support for Windows 7, Windows 10 desktop, laptop PC's, iPads, and iPhones, Office 365 and Cloud based applicationsExtensive knowledge of and experience installing and supporting software applications including CRM, anti-virus softwareProven experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PC'sSuperb customer service skills and a knack for problem solving and creating user friendly, clear solutionsThe ability to prioritise high volumes of diverse tasks, often with competing deadlinesIt is preferable that you have completed or are studying towards a relevant IT tertiary qualification.
