An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional sales representative to join our Timber and Resilient Flooring Division, covering the South Island from our Christchurch base.
The Role
With your strong work ethic and professional attitude, you will work closely with the National Sales Manager to provide a high level of sales management, technical support, product training, information and education.
You will report to the National Sales Manager - Godfrey Hirst Floors, and be a key member of the New Zealand sales team. You will enjoy developing strong relationships with flooring retailers through the South Island and provide service and support to our retail network.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying further sales opportunities, developing technical support and making recommendations regarding product offerings and pricing, with the objective of increasing market share and brand awareness of Godfrey Hirst Floors and its diverse product offerings.
Your new role is highly relationship driven so you must be personable, possess a strong customer service focus and be self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will have a strong sales background with a passion to succeed and the ability to effectively manage your time, clients and territory.
To thrive in this role you will be a self driven sales person, with a passion for our company, products and customers. You will be selling and working with engineered timber, laminate, vinyl plank, hybrid and vinyl sheet flooring products. Knowledge of these products or experience in a connected trade would be advantageous, but not essential as we will ensure you are up to date on our product.
