As the District Licensing Committee Secretary, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the responsible sale and supply of alcohol in our district, contributing directly to the safety and well-being of our community. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals who are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and transparency.

Your role:

You'll be the linchpin between the DLC and various stakeholders involved in alcohol licensing applications. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and managing DLC hearings, providing advice to the committee, ensuring hearings are conducted fairly, maintaining quality documentation, and producing written decisions. You'll also handle administrative tasks, facilitate meetings, and report on alcohol licensing activities.

What you will bring:

• Knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 or similar legislation
• Understanding of local government legal and regulatory frameworks
• Strong time management and deadline-oriented skills
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation clearly
• Excellent written and advisory skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Full driver's license
