We are looking for a Planner to join our current team so we are able to keep on top of an increasing workload and ensure that we have the capacity to maintain outstanding service.
The main function of our Planner role is to process, and prepare planning reports for applications received by Council under the Resource Management Act within the statutory timeframes and established schedules.
The successful applicant will be highly computer literate and will be able to convey information and interact positively with people from all walks of life. A Tertiary degree in Resource Management or similar is essential and working knowledge of legislation including Resource Management Act, Building Act, Local Government Act and Privacy Act are important requirements.
