They are now searching for a GM of Service Delivery who is a savvy people leader and business partner, capable of taking a broad view of the organisation and all its stakeholders. This role, reporting to the CEO, will oversee and lead the Council's Infrastructure services including Roading, Transportation, Waters, Solid Waste, Environmental Protection, Community Services, Culture, Facilities, Recreation and Sport. These are significant portfolios to be responsible for and a great opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities in a meaningful way.

• Driving positive, strategic change towards a new future of work
• Overseeing a broad range of infrastructure services which are central to the region's health and viability
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to develop the LTP
• Leading the strategic development of business continuity plans for service areas
• Leadership of a talented team with high delivery expectations

Your background will include:

• Executive management of infrastructure services
• Deep understanding of council processes and experience of manoeuvring comfortably through complex policy, organisational and political dynamics
• Ability and commitment to drive large programmes of work efficiently
• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience including large civil projects
• Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate a team to foster a positive culture
