Our Compliance Administrator works within the Regulatory Support team ensuring the wider Regulatory section operates effectively and their administration tasks are in good hands. Knowledge of statutes, regulations and legislation is an important part of this role, however, if you have extensive administration experience and are interested to learn, then we are keen to hear from you.

The Compliance Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Providing administration support and advice in the day-to-day management of key compliance programs, including Section 36 Annual Charges, Water Metering, Gravel Extraction and bond registration.
  • Assisting in the development, refining, and coordination of administration processes.
  • Working alongside Compliance and Environmental Health Officers to ensure efficient delivery of Regulatory services throughout the Tasman region and its communities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following;

  • A minimum of three years administration experience, preferably in a larger organisation
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other online tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and systems.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A minimum of Level 4 NZQA in office administration or similar qualification is desirable.
  • Prior experience in water metering programs and annual charging processes or knowledge of relevant statutes and regulations is desirable but not essential.

Starting hourly rate for this role is $29.43 to $31.00 + 6.2% benefits, depending on skills and experience. Salary ranges go beyond this as the individual develops in the role. Use the benefits package for additional superannuation, additional paid time off, or an adiditonal cash allowance. This is a full time position, however we do offer flexible working options, such as working from home and 9 day fortnights.
